Shandong GRAD Successfully Passes Regular KS Certification Audit of South Korea, Gaining Further Recognition for Product Quality Globally

Recently, the continuously wound FRP pipes manufactured by Shandong GRAD Group have successfully passed the regular surveillance audit for South Korean KS Product Certification. The Group maintains valid KS certification qualifications, further strengthening its core competitiveness to explore the South Korean market and broader overseas markets.

From April 28 to 29, 2026, a team of experts from the Korean Standards Association visited Shandong GRAD  Group and conducted an on-site quality audit on continuously wound FRP pipes and pipe fittings produced by the Group’s Pipe Engineering Division. Thanks to the strong support from the Product Supply Team of the Operation Center, as well as the close collaboration between the International Trade & Engineering Division and the Pipe Engineering Division, the audit was completed smoothly.

During the opening meeting, audit lead Mr. Namgung systematically introduced the objectives, scope and methods of this audit to all attendees. Dong Zuojun, General Manager of the Pipe Engineering Division, and Hu Shujun, General Manager of the International Trade & Engineering Division, attended the meeting and extended a warm welcome to the expert team. Mr. Dong required all relevant departments to fully cooperate with the audit work, record problems identified during the process, and learn advanced management experience from South Korea to drive continuous improvement across the company.

Established in accordance with the Industrial Standardization Act of South Korea, the KS Certification is a nationally authoritative certification system in South Korea. It serves as an essential market access certificate for products entering South Korea and participating in local public procurement projects. Featuring stringent assessment criteria and standardized certification procedures, KS Certification sets extremely high requirements for enterprises in terms of production technology, product quality, quality management system and on-site production management.

In this regular audit, the South Korean expert team conducted a comprehensive and meticulous inspection in strict accordance with the latest KS standards and certification rules. Multiple assessment methods including document review, on-site inspection and sample testing were adopted to examine the full workflow covering raw material control, production process implementation, product quality inspection and equipment management. The expert team spoke highly of Geruid’s sound quality management system, rigorous production control procedures, advanced production equipment, standardized laboratory management and consistent product quality.

Smoothly passing the regular KS re-audit once again proves the outstanding product quality and management capabilities of Shandong GRAD  Group, endorsed by an internationally authoritative institution. This achievement also lays a solid foundation for the Group to further expand its presence in South Korea and global markets.
