GRAD Group's Honeycomb Stealth Material Project Wins High-Value Patent Competition Award
Recently, the 2025 China · Shandong New Quality Productivity High-Value Patent Transformation and Application Competition (referred to as the "New High Competition") finals concluded successfully in Jinan. GRAD Group's project, titled "Research and Development of Honeycomb Stealth Composite Materials and Molding Process," won the Excellence Award due to its outstanding technological innovation and industrial transformation value. The award also included a complimentary intellectual property service package valued at ¥10,000 from Zhongzhi Huiha (PatSea).
As a crucial platform focused on patent transformation and cultivating new quality productivity, this year's competition, themed "Promoting Patent Industrialization and Cultivating New Quality Productivity," attracted 383 high-quality projects. The competition awarded 4 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 21 third prizes, and 29 excellence awards.
The GRAD project primarily conducted breakthrough research on the curved surface design and molding process for stealth composite material products' panels. Through the selection, design, testing, and optimization of panel raw materials, along with improvements in the molding process, the project ultimately addressed challenges such as the high weight and short stealth lifespan of traditional products. Currently, the project's main application is providing technical support for radar stealth and optical camouflage for special-purpose vehicles or equipment.
During the semi-finals, the project's core research objectives, innovative solutions, key technical challenges, structural design, and critical performance indicators received high recognition and unanimous praise from the expert panel.
